T-shirts for Gay Pride Jerusalem (personal project)

T-shirts I designed for the 2025 Jerusalem March for Pride and Tolerance, in collaboration with Kehila Datit Tomkhet (“Supportive Religious Community”), an organization I’ve proudly marched with for years. Although we didn’t manage to produce the shirts in time this year, with God’s help, we’ll march in full force wearing them next year.

The design is a homage to Jewish “Birkat HaBayit” (Home Blessing) ceramic tiles from late 19th-century North Africa — a style that became widely popular in Israel thanks to mass production by the Israel Museum gift shop. Kehila Datit Tomkhet supports LGBTQ+ individuals from religious communities and their families. The design reimagines the traditional home blessing as a symbol of hope - that everyone may feel at home within their family and community. The phrase “Blessed shall you be when you go out” subtly alludes to the blessing of coming out.
